Area Counsel
The candidate will negotiate, draft, and track the disposition of contracts for land acquisitions, construction, and redevelopment. Will manage comprehensive due diligence investigations for the potential acquisition of land and oversee the expeditious procurement of governmental approvals for residential developments. Assist Division with pending land acquisition transactions and closings. Manage environmental remediation and hazardous waste disposal activities by professionals and contractors prior to and during community build-out. Oversee the preparation of public offering statements and general information statements. Provide general legal advice in support of Division operations. Must have a Law Degree and 5+ years in relevant experience in land use and real estate law. An active law license in New Jersey is required and Pennsylvania is preferred.
