IT Messaging Engineer

The candidate provide maintenance, support, and enhancements to the messaging systems including Exchange, Outlook, Mobility, Email archiving, and Active Directory. Day-to-day operations of and support for applications and systems related to messaging Microsoft Exchange servers, Microsoft Outlook, Exchange Active Sync, and other applications. Provide support for end users as Foley Hoag’s top tier of support for email and Active Directory issues. Work with vendors to support Foley Hoag's email and Active Directory systems. Monitor and respond to issues or service requests reported to the Support Desk and create and resolve problem tickets for service issues. Participate in after business hours operational maintenance activities and deployments. Plan, deploy solutions, document procedures, and coordinate systems software and hardware activities with local and remote team members and their clients. Collaborate with other service teams to assist in solving service problems when related to UC services. Monitor and analyze messaging to ensure 99.9% uptime. Be available outside of business hours to resolve critical downtime events. Bachelor's Degree in a technology-focused major or equivalent experience is required. Should have 5+ years of strong experience in a Microsoft Exchange and Office 365. Experience in an Enterprise IT environment, having hands on experience administering email, email archiving, mobility, and performed operational and break/fix activities is required. Experience with MDM solutions, preferably Intune is required. Experience migrating to and supporting Exchange Online is required. Strong understanding of networks and related WAN/LAN technologies is required.
