A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Of Counsel or Senior Attorney with ideally 10+ years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in consumer financial services, including knowledge of laws such as the Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and federal and state laws governing unfair, deceptive, and abusive acts and practices. This role requires strong academic credentials, exceptional analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in consumer financial services matters, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation related to consumer financial services issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements in compliance with applicable laws.
• Advise clients on matters related to the Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and other relevant laws.
• Ensure clients' compliance with federal and state laws governing unfair, deceptive, and abusive acts and practices.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for effective consumer financial services practices.

Requirements:

• Ideally, 10+ years of experience in consumer financial services law.
• Strong expertise in laws such as the Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and other relevant federal and state laws.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
