Description

The Lead, IT Compliance, Policy Management, drives an integrated Policy Management governance framework and lifecycle, to identify, monitor, and remediate technology policy risk. You will establish and maintain the technology policy portfolio, develop and implement policy processes, review and recommend improvements to policies and standards, monitor to evolve policies based on business changes, drive policy awareness, and monitor to adherence expectations. The Lead, IT Compliance, advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance, exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, using independent judgment to determine the best course of action.

Develop and govern a policy management framework

Establish policy change management processes

Identify and implement best practices for development, review, approval, implementation, and communication of technology policies

Maintain a technology policy inventory

Create and implement a strategy for monitoring policy adherence

Assess current policies and standards to identify gaps

Propose new policies or amendments to existing policies based on business needs, trends or landscape changes

Partner with process owners to enhance policy quality and consistency

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

8 or more years of technical experience

2 or more years of project leadership experience

Policy development experience

Robust planning and organization

Excellent reading comprehension and critical-thinking skills

Superior writing skills

Strong verbal communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and negotiate

In-depth understanding of industry standards and frameworks (e.g. NIST)

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field

Project/program management experience
