To ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment that reflects an image of outstanding quality.
\u2022 Perform daily readings.
\u2022 Maintain all electrical equipment in the building (transformers, panels, switchgear, generator, and motor starters)
\u2022 Perform weekly testing of the Emergency Generator.
\u2022 Provide technical assistance to other technicians as necessary.
\u2022 Work on other equipment as needed.
\u2022 Maintain inventory and orders electrical supplies.
\u2022 Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
\u2022 Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
\u2022 Responsible for all ballroom and exhibit hall electrical set ups.
\u2022 Knowledgeable of hotels electrical distribution and available power for set ups.
\u2022 Have a thorough understanding of HAZCOM, Lockout/Tagout and Blood borne Pathogen Programs.
\u2022 Must be knowledgeable of NEC, local, and city codes.
\u2022 Hold required license as required.
\u2022 Reasonable request of management as directed.
\u2022 Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively.
\u2022 Must be able to lift 50lbs.
\u2022 Open air work environment, with hot and cold conditions possible.
\u2022 Interior of hotel, in normal office conditions.
\u2022 Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
\u2022 Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
\u2022 Exposure to high and low voltage electricity.
\u2022 Walking, stooping, standing, bending and sitting; possibly for more then 1 hour.
\u2022 Ability to communicate orally and in written form, in English

REQUIRED: ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE
Must be able to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
