Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters including electricity and electronics, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes. The position will perform high-level machine and systems troubleshooting and repair, assist engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems, and provide technical support for all phases of the operation.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Training beyond high school including either an Associate(A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technicalfield), or a combination of education and experience which may includeskilled trades programs or military training.Experience: 4 years of automation experience and/or industrialmaintenance experience.Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; must have strong skills indocument organization, the use of technical materials, and researchtechniques. Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAPMaintenance.Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate verbally and inwriting with all team members.Special Skills: Must possess the ability to function effectively in ateam environment and interact productively with all levels of managementand operations personnel; critical thinking and problem solving skills;with strong interpersonal skills.Certification: Certifications in any technical field or techniques is aplus.Supervisory: NATravel: 1-5 trips per year outside of assigned location.

Preference given to internal qualified candidates currently employed at this facility followed by candidates from other Tyson facilities and then external applicants.

Candidates for Management and Management Support positions must not have more than 4.0 attendance points.

Must meet the minimum requirements to include position-specific requirements as listed on the job posting.

Applicants cannot have more than 1 Written Warning in the last 12 months. Applicants may not have a Written Warning w/Suspension or Core Safety Mandate violation in the last 12 months.
