The candidate will coordinate and organize all data for incoming and offboarding attorneys. Coordinate and manage client requests related to their file management during the onboarding or offboarding process. Manage and track receipt of client consents/authorizations and ensure data complies with the firm's incoming file policy. Create encryptions and/or passwords for outgoing client matter data. Manage transfer of electronic data using secure methods which includes identifying, organizing and exporting client/matter data from the document management system, files on shared drives, litigation support databases and extranets. Work with IT to implement ethical walls and legal holds within the records management system. Maintain a thorough working and training knowledge of the records management system for IG functionality. Should have 3-4 years law firm or records management experience involving matter mobility (on-boarding and off-boarding attorneys and/or clients).
