ADP is hiring a Payroll Support Representative for the Next Gen WFN Team. In this position, you will help to define, mature, and execute on ADP's next-gen technology, Workforce Now powered by Pi, through collaboration with various ADP partners such as Product and Development, PMO, Business Transformation, Client Experience, Enterprise Learning, Knowledge Management, and Service and Implementation Teams and Leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Support:
Provide user-oriented, subject matter expertise input into the design and development of new product, features and processes
Serves as thought leader to identify broad level enhancements that will foster the delivery of an exceptional client experience for our clients
Conduct end-to-end functional testing (processing payroll)
Maintain and expand knowledge / proficiency on function, products, services, and best implementation practices industry-wide.
Provide continuous feedback and suggestions to help build the product and experience
Client Support:
Use multiple tools and research resources in order to develop an accurate and comprehensive response to a wide range of inquiries regarding payroll practices and tax considerations, taking into account the differences across states and localities.
Develop and maintain effective, proactive relationships and communications with your assigned client base and ADP departments/associates to contribute to a successful overall client experience.
Use functional area knowledge and industry specific experience to anticipate obstacles and proactively search for solutions.
Works in an inbound phone support model
Provides WFN Next Gen Payroll Technology support and guidance
Supports general payroll, HR & Benefit questions
Supports payroll processing questions and provides best practice guidance
Conducts initial issue troubleshooting and engages appropriate internal resolution teams as necessary, providing frequent and proactive updates to client contact
Collaborates with internal Clients/Partners (401k, FSA, Tax, etc.) and/or third party vendors involved in providing services to identify and resolve issues and ensure that these services meet Client expectations.
Escalates Client issues to Tier II Support or other internal partners, as appropriate. Communicates status and resolution to Client.
Assists Client with tax changes for understanding, conducts research and follow-ups as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Occasional extended hours during peak seasons. May work 5 - 10 hours of OT 6 - 8 weeks of the year.
Qualification Required:
Requires a high-level payroll knowledge including payroll skills for processing Client payrolls. Accuracy and dependability important since errors or omissions can directly impact Client associate paychecks, and errors in reporting can also lead to penalty and interest payments for ADP.
Basic knowledge of payroll tax principles and wage and hour laws
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and resolve problems through effective customer interface and communication
Must be able to work under time constraints to ensure that deadlines are met
Excellent Professional Customer Service Skills
Strong Organizational Skills
Strong Process and documentation skills
Strong Research Skills
Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel Proficiency in using PC

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus.
