Diversity & Inclusion Manager
Cooley is seeking a Diversity & Inclusion Manager to manage the Firm’s diversity and inclusion initiatives including the development of practices to recruit, retain and promote diverse attorneys to support an inclusive culture. The Diversity & Inclusion Manager will use metrics to produce data reports and analysis, coordinate responses to client requests and industry bench-marking surveys, assist with the firm’s diversity hiring efforts, manage diversity sponsorships and execute diversity-related events and trainings. The Diversity & Inclusion Manager is responsible for creating accountability around diversity and inclusion efforts with attorneys, and will keep abreast of industry trends and best practices. The Diversity & Inclusion Manager will also partner with the diversity team to develop the diversity and inclusion budget, audit monthly variance reports and track department spend.
Candidates must have 5+ years direct experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives with 2+ years managing those initiatives. Preferred candidates will have previous law firm experience, a college degree and experience managing a budget. Candidates will also have a passion for diversity and inclusion efforts, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
