The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for the overall quality of our products with a focus on meeting customer requirements and continuous process improvements. As we grow, we have the need for an individual who will enhance our existing quality program in addition to conducting audits and reviews to ensure that we provide services and products that meet or exceed all our internal and external customer requirements. Functions as an informational source and coordinates efforts from multiple departments when special or critical issues occur. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment and a demonstrated ability to work efficiently with multiple internal customers, suppliers, and end users to focus on ECO’s, DMR’s, and field issues. This position will be based out of our Raymond, ME facility with frequent travel to our Lewiston, ME facility and will report to senior staff.
Develop and Maintain a Quality Assurance Program to ensure that we are providing products and services to meet or exceed all customer requirements.
Communicate the key elements of the QAP to instill appropriate work methods and requirements to all employees.
Work closely with Customer Service, Shipping, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to ensure that the internal work flows are error free and that customers are provided with services and products that meet all internal and external customer requirements.
Work closely with Suppliers, Purchasing and Receiver/Inspector to ensure that all incoming parts meet Dielectric documented requirements in conjunction with developing a comprehensive dock to stock program.
Ensure that customer field problems are addressed quickly and efficiently to a mutually satisfactory outcome including immediate corrective actions and appropriate measures to prevent further occurrences.
Oversee the inspection of products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, oscilloscope and vision.
Generate and distribute appropriate spreadsheets for data collection with a focus on analyzing the results and creating a plan of action.
Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
Perform lead role on any special projects, including government projects, that requires a high level of hands-on quality control.
Quality certification desired (ISO or similar)
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
ERP experience, preferably Oracle
Strong clerical and math skills
Ability to comply with all of our safety standards
