Position Summary
This role will drive and govern creative excellence, innovation and consistency — enhancing UA’s retail consumer experience across our Brand House and Factory Stores. The Sr. Creative Lead - Retail will work closely with Channel Marketing and Strategy Teams to bring the retail journey to life — leveraging a consumer centric mindset. This role will develop creative strategies and guidelines, establish storytelling and visual systems, and design experiences through a brand-right, retail first lens. This role will provide scalable direction, ensure best practices, and collaborate on regional nuances and adaptation — establishing a premium, consistent global brand presentation. This role will work closely with multiple business stakeholders, cross-functional creative teams, in addition to operational and production partners to streamline creative development and ensure the retail brand experience executes successfully, with purpose. This role reports into the Sr. Creative Director – Global Omni-Channel.
The Sr. Creative Lead is a Creative Leader, Strategic Thinker, and a Proactive Cross-Functional Partner. This role has an established command for visual design and executional excellence. This role understands the impact of the retail experience in the Omni Journey and its impact on the business — this role connects the dots. This position can successfully work individually or within different team builds — consistently delivering elevated, disciplined work given an evolving brand and a demanding business. This role navigates challenges and leverages relationships to land solutions and solid recommendations with agility. An offensive partner, the Sr. Creative Lead is a forward thinker who drives improvement on all projects while simultaneously thinking big — developing best practices for overall success. Most importantly, this position delivers differentiated ideas tied to the business — maximizing the power this channel’s work has to inspire, communicate, and drive action.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Global Non-Seasonal concepts, development, and design – retail first executions
Global Seasonal concept, development, and design in collaboration with Category Teams – retail first executions

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Solid portfolio showing best in class solutions with a high level of design excellence
Passion for sports and retail
Command of the Adobe Creative Suite
Command of visual and written communication
Understanding of the Retail and E-Commerce relationship in order to build a consistent yet channel-nuanced experience
Highly organized with a mastery of communication hierarchies
Ability to navigate ambiguity and build relationships cross-functionally
Command of visual and graphic systems/structures: typography, design, photography, video
Ability to apply creative strategy and critical thinking to the retail space
Bonus: Working knowledge of Workfront, Keynote, Miro programs and platforms.
Education And / Or Experience
BFA or similar
9 years experience in a design led role with experience in retail and digital
Strong retail design experience a must, minimum 4 years
Expert visual storyteller who knows how to balance brand and commerce
Other Requirements
Location: This teammate must be in easy commuting distance to the Baltimore, MD area for fleet access and walk-through’s as needed ( 1-2x monthly).
Travel: 20%, as needed.
