We are looking for a customer-oriented experienced Technical Product Owner with great communication and collaboration skills to own the strategy and roadmap for Engine Wash Analytics product within Aviation DT Services.

In this role, you will work closely with amazing functional stakeholders and savvy global developers to define and deliver the strategic roadmap for analytics related to jet engine water wash and foam wash using AWS tech stack.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Partner with digital and functional stakeholders to drive strategic vision, roadmap, and prioritization for the product.

Lead a geographically diverse development team to deliver on the product roadmap using Agile software development processes.

Follow the GE Aviation DT standards to make the product available to external customers

Ensure that application's functionality, tech stack, security, availability, and performance expectations are met, consistent with an external-facing business application

Provide inputs into the annual budget review process and other business activities

​ Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience (OR Associates degree with minimum of 6 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience).

At least 4 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management or Digital Technology (DT) / Information Technology (IT).

Eligibility Requirement:

Desired Characteristics:

Experience and expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g., BRP, Release Planning, Scrum ceremonies, etc.).

Proficiency with various agile and collaboration tools like Rally and Confluence.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience presenting to varied audience ranging from technical teams to Executive Band leadership with confidence and clarity

Experience managing applications involving large data ingestions and complex calculations with AWS tech stack such as Redshift, S3, Lambda, Glue, PySpark and Hi-Charts

Develops and promotes the use of standard work. Leverages LEAN best practices to drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Experience owning and supporting a customer-facing product

Proven ability to collaborate with and influence multiple stakeholders to determine the right priorities and roadmap for the product

Actively identify and remove obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team.

Ability to drive engagement with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to engage Executive Band leadership with confidence and clarity
