The Software Quality Testing Engineer 2 thoroughly evaluates the software products according to the business standards or function requirements.

Responsibilities

The Software Quality Testing Engineer 2 isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects and verifies fixes. This individual develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements. They will need to be very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. This individual understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. They make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed as well as follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Experience developing test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication

Great time management skills

Strong attention to detail

Self-motivated and takes initiative without being directed

Core business hours align to Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Minimum 3 years of technical experience
