Description
The Telecommunications Technology Principal is responsible for all aspects of product delivery and performance. The Telecommunication Technology Principal provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s) and is highly skilled with broad, advanced telecommunications.

With hundreds of primary care clinics across the country and an active M&A strategy, we are launching an aggressive standardization and modernization program for our telecommunications platforms. As a result we seek a leader who can build deployment strategies and workflows around the new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Assess current state, map future state and deploy new telecomm technology to clinics across the country.
Responsible for migration strategy and deployment logistics
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of project managers and field technicians to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders while fostering an environment of collaboration, trust, accountability, and open communication
Responsible for training on newly deployed technologies
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyze information skillfully to develop alternative solutions
Develop and implement strategies that mitigate risk.
Track and report project progress including timeline for key dependencies and milestones
Other responsibilities as may be required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of experience.
Experience with Agile, Scrum or preferably Kanban delivery methods.
Deep knowledge of telecommunications platforms (VOIP, Genesis, CISCO, 8X8, Avaya, etc) and their deployment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and effectively use traditional and virtual communications
Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills
5 years of experience delivering complex telecommunications projects
2 to 5 years of managing a technical team.
Additional Information:
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
