Senior Manager Ethics
The candidate will develop, implement and periodically review an annual ethics and compliance plan. Collaborate with leaders to ensure Serco’s Code of Conduct, ethics and compliance processes and key controls are effectively communicated and understood. Create training and communications to ensure that employees, suppliers and third parties are aware of Serco policies and procedures and understand how to report potential violations. Ensure relevant procedures and key controls remain current and reflect statutory and regulatory requirements. Act as an ambassador for Serco’s Code of Conduct, championing Serco’s ethical principles and values and supporting those who work for or with Serco to live up to the ethical standards expected of them. Report to business leaders and executives on key ethics and compliance initiatives. Create an environment that encourages speaking up and ensures when someone does the issue is appropriately dealt with and corrective action is taken as necessary. Conduct and/or oversee timely internal investigations of matters that merit investigation and coordinate with business colleagues to implement remedial measures as appropriate. Supervise Serco’s Speak Up process to ensure it remains free from retaliation. Ensure processes are in place to undertake effective due diligence regarding commercial partners, customers, and suppliers. Compile, analyze, and present Ethics program data to key stakeholders. Implement and manage the Company’s formal Ethics training programs.
