Current license as a RN
Current certification as a BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
1 years of experience as a RN in an Emergency Department required
Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
Registered nurse who demonstrates critical thinking skills and leadership within the department’s scope of services and patient care delivery. The Flow Facilitator is responsible for the overall movement of patients in a safe and efficient manner. This position will facilitate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse and attending to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. The Flow Facilitator is a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism. Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to West Florida Hospital standards of behavior.
