What We’re Looking For:
To achieve the best outcomes for our university partners across a portfolio of programs while driving operational efficiency, 2U has established Special Ops teams to coordinate and automate where possible, repeatable processes which are not unique to each program or relationship. The Specialist role creates processes and executes on manual tasks to support operational activities within these areas. Specialists are dedicated to one or more Special Ops teams.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Program Support
Execute on assigned tasks at the highest level of quality and in a repeatable fashion with few exceptions and workarounds. Use Jira to track tasks and collaborate with stakeholders.
Prioritize requests and escalate as required to management.
Think critically about current processes, systems and relationships and mitigate issues as they arise.
Audit programmatic information and processes to inform project scope and standardization efforts.
Information Management
Assist management in setting up, tracking and updating project plans to track the progress on goals, deliverables and analytics to support business goals.
Record, organize and disseminate notes for relevant Special Ops team meetings.
Document and maintain records to ensure processes and systems are transparent, transferable and long-term. Ensure that all documentation is in line with 2U knowledge management best practices.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree required
1-3 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and excellent follow through
Project management experience preferred
Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
Focused on achieving defined results, and exceeding goals and objectives
Ability to think critically and identify potential issues before they arise
Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills required
Excellent listener balanced with ability to challenge colleagues constructively and stimulate the thinking of others

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $56,650, with potential bonus eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
