The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing a high level of quality support to senior level professionals in a fast-paced environment.


Human Relations: Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of personnel including internal senior management, administrative staff and external strategic business partner contacts. Must be a team player as well as work for multiple people.


Essential Job Functions:


HR Administration:


Performs administrative and related duties that are broad, varied and often confidential

Prepares correspondence, memos, spreadsheets and presentations utilizing the

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and maintains electronic files

Prepares, processes and manages employee documents and creates employee files; assists in New Hire Orientation, life status and off-boarding; prepares materials

Maintains administrative PTO schedule and coordinates desk coverage for Executive Assistants accordingly

Prepares draft hire/departure announcements

Supports relocation process

Updates semimonthly hourly payroll recap schedules and cafeteria plan schedule to assist in Payroll processing

Reconciles monthly billing from benefit carriers and prepares general ledger journal entries for Finance team

Assists in the administration of employee recognition programs

Updates organizational charts

Conference Center support backup

Coordinates and confirms conference calls and meetings; arranges conference rooms and catering for meetings, updating calendars with conference rooms and phone numbers utilizing Outlook

Completes and tracks expense reports

Updates HR intranet – benefit portal

Provides support and assistance for other HR and administrative projects and processes



Assists with the recruitment process of administrative personnel including reviewing resumes and screening candidates

Tracks applicants/candidate activity

Liaises and maintains relationships with external recruiting resources

Administers temporary worker process

Conducts background checks

Responds to employment inquires



Assists employees with benefit questions

Enrolls/terminates employees into benefits electronically

Education/Experience Requirements:


2-4 years of HR experience, specifically including

Benefits administration

Administrative skills in HR with experience in answering benefit questions,

preparing offer letters, preparing on-boarding schedules, coordinating

interviews and meetings

HRIS experience

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Superior organizational skills, ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail

Articulate, proactive and able to effectively multi-task

High level of professionalism with strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ideally have experience with Concur expense management and Salesforce software programs

Positive disposition, a high degree of judgment, initiative and discretion

A demonstrated ability to be flexible and willing to dive in and assist with whatever is needed

Ability to maintain confidential information in compliance with HR and Firm policies

A demonstrated ability to research and leverage available resources to accomplish the task at hand

Good judgment as to when to escalate issues vs. when to solve problems independently

Must have very professional presence and a firm grasp of grammar/spelling/proofing

May need to be available at certain periods during the year (i.e., associate recruiting process, performance review, various firm events)
