The candidate will manage a docket designed to enhance rights and liberties when they come into contact with the criminal legal system, from arrest through confinement. Working closely with the Policy Counsel, Legal Department, Field Organizing Department, and Communications team, the successful candidate will design and manage campaigns to enhance the rights of New Yorkers who interact with the criminal legal system. Will be a core part of the management team of the Policy Department, sharing responsibility for managing personnel and campaign work.
