SESI Corporate, LLC is currently seeking an HR Coordinator to join our Corporate Services Department in Houston TX. The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing the full range of administrative services and support throughout the employee lifecycle within the Human Resources Hire to Retire process in the HR Employee Service Center. This position is the primary contact for managers and employees as well as the full range of internal and external customers. This role is responsible for ensuring customer inquiries are responded to within recognized service level response agreements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers and recruiting team.
Process applications, coordinate between the candidate and the hiring manager, and initiate offer letters to successful candidates.
Monitor and update applicant tracking records to ensure seamless processing through the HR systems.
Coordinate physical/functional and drug testing with third party vendors and set up appointments and results.
Initiate any criminal, DOT and motor vehicle background checks as applicable and monitor the timely communication of results to the appropriate managers.
New Hire Processing
Verify all new hire data, including I-9 forms, is received in a timely manner and is accurate and complete.
Enter information into the E-Verify system.
Input accurate and timely data into the HR Information System (HRIS).
Conduct new hire employee orientation and assist with on-boarding activities, as needed.
Coordinate with IT team for new hire computer and network access.
Enter/audit new hire data into the HRIS to reflect all new hire benefits elections.
Collaborate with Benefits Team and third party vendors, as needed.
Respond to general and specific inquiries about benefit premiums and employee issues; Follow up as needed.
Employee and Records Processing
Respond to requests for employee records updates (i.e. personal information, deduction changes, etc.).
Assist employees and managers with accessing information online via the HRIS.
Respond to requests and information on Superior HR policies.
Manage all data vaulting and records retention, including ensuring records are stored, secured and maintained in a confidential manner and responding to records requests in a timely manner.
Assist Payroll Team with ensuring data accuracy.
Respond to employment verification requests and medical support orders in a timely manner.
Specific knowledge of HR policies and processes
Specific HR benefits terminology and an understanding of benefit plans and processes
Knowledge of general payroll terminology and characteristics of payroll processes

Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization with excellent interpersonal skills; communicating clearly, concisely and persuasively including the ability to communicate via telephone and in writing

Education:Bachelor's Degree Preferred, or High School Diploma and equivalent experience
