Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload involving insurance defense, premises liability, personal injury, and transportation matters

• Handle litigation from initiation through trial, including:

  • Conducting and defending depositions

  • Preparing and arguing motions

  • Representing clients at court hearings

• Draft and analyze legal documents, pleadings, and reports

• Communicate litigation strategies and case updates effectively to clients

• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of discovery, including:

  • Drafting and responding to interrogatories

  • Managing document production

  • Handling requests for admissions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant litigation experience

• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

• Proven experience handling depositions and court appearances

• Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills

• Proactive in managing case timelines and deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Missouri Bar (active and in good standing)

• Admission to the Illinois Bar is a plus

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask efficiently

• Confident decision-making and strategic thinking

• Skilled in legal research and document drafting
