SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify segregate isolate non-conforming product and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats industry required or other QA type experience. Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; good problem identification and problem solving skills; math and organizational skills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; must function well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and when needed. Physical Requirements: Position may involves heavy lifting 50- 70 lbs. or more .

Tasks: This position requires overseeing loads, twice weekly plant picture audits, collect/review all FSQA paperwork, APPI collection and press samples for press test. Oversee all preservative application and changing of totes. Research out of spec loads and may be required to perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
