Duties: Review and consult on one or more discreet subject matters including property and casualty insurance; punitive damages; and statutory attorney fees, costs, and expenses, and statutory interest. Identify and develop quality control solutions for the claimant information database through reports and manual checks. Collaborate with Programmers regularly to revise database needs and to develop concise reports used in reporting and maintaining Claimant information. Create reports and dashboards in Excel and/or PowerBI for use in communicating progress and status of project work. As required by special projects and/or team assignments, responsible for working closely and collaboratively with attorneys using information from multiple databases and Excel spreadsheets. Assist with ongoing analytic tasks, develop, and originate new analytic processes and tasks as they become necessary. Perform regular quality control of client databases for purposes of validating work of Claim Reviewers. Organize and maintain files in a highly independent manner, ensuring integrity and completeness of database. Ensure timely responses to requests and communicate Claimant history and status of Claims to the Client, Counsel, and others outside the firm. Collaborate with other Analysts to recommend system enhancements and improvements to increase the overall operational efficiency of the team. Collaborate with Project Managers, Senior Analysts, and Human Resources to document and address any employee performance and/or employee relations issues. Participate in the interview process for the selection of staff. Coordinate meetings through use of electronic calendars and feels comfortable meeting with Claims Reviewers to outline projects. May be accountable for the intake and routing of documents from various firms and for the creation of PDF electronic files by staff. Perform more advanced and special projects as requested by firm leadership to include Counsel, Partners and/or other staff. Maintains and promotes a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing organization standards and all applicable policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, while adhering to legal regulations.
