Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution, including trials.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings and mediations.
• Provide counsel on probate and estate-related legal matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
• Maintain compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules.

Requirements

• Active membership in the State Bar of California, in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Background in estate administration or probate law is preferred.
• Strong ability to manage multiple cases independently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and client-focused approach.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
