Responsibilities: Supervise every aspect of the firm’s accounting/financial function. Prepare journal entries, including payroll, accruals, prepaid, and reverse. Prepare various AR, and AP reports. Prepare month-end closing – AP, AR, Payroll, reconciliation, accrual, depreciation, and amortization. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, including trust accounts. Design excel formats for reports. Oversee and monitor the firm’s allocation process. Assist CFO with Budget, Forecast, KPI, audits, compliances, insurance, and reporting financial packages. Evaluate the industry’s practices in the process of capital asset depreciation. Oversee cash flow between the accounting systems and the bank. Comply with the firm’s internal control process. Review and prepare balance sheets, general ledger accounts, and income statement schedules. Recommend improvement to general accounting activities to ensure compliance with governmental and organizational procedures and policies and ensure the most efficient and effective operations. Implement automation and process improvements to reduce redundancy. Assist CFO with cost accounting projects. Perform different types of tasks as required. Manage the accurate, reliable, and timely reporting for internal requirements. Ensure compliance with required external and internal controls. Train and supervise other accounting staff.
