Under the direction of the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer or other designated person, will be responsible for the selection and audit of materials, parts, equipment, procedures, etc., at random and check specified tolerance specifications, and inspect procedure forms and actual procedures. Make recommendations to improve quality and monitor corrections as instructed. Responsible for audit of stock areas as directed. Will validate gages and evaluate gauging procedures. Will interface with Engineers, Suppliers, and Layout on various aspects of procedures, engineering change orders, detailed and technical reports, etc. Assist in developing, constructing, and interpreting: inspection procedures, charts, graphs, and writing detailed and technical reports, etc. Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
