Position Overview:

Nave Law Firm seeks an experienced and dedicated Senior Criminal Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a driven self-starter with excellent analytical and writing skills, ready to provide top-notch legal representation while maintaining a high standard of client service.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including but not limited to DUI/DWI, drug offenses, theft, and violent crimes.
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies.
• Conducted legal research and drafted legal documents, motions, and pleadings.
• Provide clear and effective communication with clients, ensuring they are well informed and understand their case status and legal options.
• Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the highest quality of legal representation.
• Maintain strict adherence to client guidelines and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York State.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in criminal defense.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Client-focused mindset, understanding that clients remember service above results.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year (DOE)
