Description

The Enterprise Performance Analytics (EPA) team leads the development, support, and enablement of key business intelligence capabilities for Finance and the Enterprise, using industry leading BI tools and technologies, enabling key customers in making decisions around business performance. Specifically, these capabilities include BI reporting and analytic product development thru the use of PowerPlatform & PowerBI, Qlik, and other leading BI technologies. The EPA team sits within our Business Informatics Shared Service (BISS) business area, in the Finance Shared Service (FSS) organization.

Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Lead role will drive the enablement of reporting and analytic capabilities within Finance and the Enterprise using BI tools and technologies, enabling data insights for key decision-makers and business partners. The role requires a solid understanding of how organizational analytic capabilities interrelate across department(s), and serves as a relationship builder with key business stakeholders, including leadership around capability prioritization, governance, requirements, and IT partnerships.

Specifically, the role will lead the build-out and implementation of tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's key data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving technical and operational opportunities involving business performance within multiple department(s), and will lead specialized professional BI associates. The role will utilize multiple BI technologies, including PowerPlatform and PowerBI, and will include key capability support for Finance use cases, among others.

The Business Intelligence Lead role may lead a team of 1-4 BI associates in executing BI capabilities for key customers, at any point in time in the future.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

4-8 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence tools, executive scorecarding and/ metric development, OR, Master's degree and 5 years of experience in same

Knowledgeable in reporting and analytics optimization, including process improvement and metric development, data process and data management

Knowledge and experience with leading the execution and development of key BI tool solutions, including PowerBI, PowerPlatform, Qlik or other leading BI technologies

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences and enabling new BI technologies

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or other graduate degree preferred

Strong communicator and relationship builder; pro-active in communication

Ability to anticipate and be proactive around next steps in large initiatives simultaneously

Broad understanding of our businesses and connectedness to key Humana constituent areas

Relationship focused and can represent Business Informatics Shared Service well to both internal and external audiences

5 or more years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing BI and analytic teams.

Knowledge of Humana's internal policies, procedures and systems

Experience with Finance modernization initiatives a plus, including data management and reporting tool strategies, or accounting background

Strong data management, data asset, and data process experience a plus

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work.
