JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for promoting the Lexington Ergonomic Culture to the Lexington facility while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Track and Trend Anago Data.
Track new hires.
Input analysis in daily report.
Knife room, Team member and floor department audits.
Review JSAs, evaluate/analyze jobs to identify stressors and implement correction where risks are identified.
Follow-up on and work closely with HMP cases, exhibits, bids, new hires and all other team members.
Track and trend high risk jobs and perform high risk job studies.
Perform CTD & MSD investigations and follow-up with restricted duty team members.
Write/submit work orders that establish new ergonomic design and follow-up regularly.
Coordinate efforts of full time Ergonomic Monitors on both harvest and processing floors and the shift Ergo Specialist
Any and all duties assigned by the ergonomic liaison.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalency preferred
Experience: 6 months of service or more with the company preferred. Exhibit knowledge of ergonomics program and program elements. Must be willing to attend additional Ergonomic/Safety training.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills using Microsoft word and excel.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal & written. Bilingual skills preferred.
Other Requirements: Must have a good attendance record (5 points or less) at time of application review. Must have a good disciplinary record (no written warning or suspension within the last 12 months) at time of application review. Must have an excellent safety record (no written warning or written warning with suspension) at time of application review.
Physical Demand Requirements: Temperature in production areas may vary. Must be willing to work in cold, dry environment with temperature range of 40 to 46 degrees. Must be willing to work in hot, wet environment with a temperature range of 60 to 120 degrees
