Associate General Counsel, Operations & FBM Reshaping
Duties: Reporting to the General Counsel, Operations, the Associate General Counsel, Operations & FBM Reshaping will leverage government contracts knowledge including significant FAR, DFARS, CAS, and business systems experience. Will also provide Supply Chain support to optimize the subcontracting process, negotiate subcontract terms and conditions, support the FBM program relocation and reshaping, and support government contracts compliance for the Space Enterprise. Legal support to Global Supply Chain management, including the VP of Global Supply Chain, Space. Responsible for negotiation of complex subcontract and Long Term Agreements negotiations with major suppliers. Experience drafting terms and conditions for government, commercial, and construction contracts. Serve as member of Lockheed Martin Corporate Terms & Conditions Council. Support Lockheed Martin Space Compliance team with regulatory and regulatory compliance. Support subsidiary contracts negotiations, as needed. Support Lockheed Martin policy revisions, development and interpretations. Legal support for Special Programs line of business. Legal support to Strategic Missiles & Defense (SMD) line of business, including Fleet Ballistic Missiles (FBM) Restructuring, and offsite locations in Washington, Georgia and Florida. Legal advisor to SMD executive management. Provide legal support for prime contract questions, bid and proposal support, as well as negotiations with major suppliers. Leadership and oversight of all SMD legal matters and projects. Working closely with the Director - FBM Reshaping, this position provides legal support for all aspects of the reshaping of the FBM program providing legal support for legislative efforts, real estate transactions, and environmental matters. Will collaborate with external stakeholders, including government counsel, as well as with internal stakeholders, such as facilities personnel and functional counsel. The work will involve a full spectrum of transactions and subject areas, including U.S. government contracts, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and construction and real estate transactions.
