KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Developer to join our Tax Technology Practice.

Responsibilities:

Interface with business team leads to understand needs and how they are best translated into full-scale applications and features

Interview users and stakeholders to better understand needs/desires and conduct usability tests

Create personas, task analysis matrices, journey maps, wireframes and high-resolution mockups

Act as an advocate for user experience design and communicates vision to project teams

Collaborate with development and owns the delivery of designs

Contribute to design language documentation

Qualifications:

Minimum one year of recent experience designing intuitive, engaging, easy-to-use, visually appealing mobile applications and Web Progressive Applications or experience in a corporate or agency environment with hands-on web or application design experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited design college/university preferred

Previous experience with client facing product design, development and delivery or Strong portfolio website

Experience working in a user centered design environment

Demonstrated experience with information architecture, interaction design, visual design, navigation design and usability

Highly proficient with React Native Mobile frameworks, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and Typescript or prior application development experience leveraging REST/SOA web services, JSON and other relevant Client Side technologies is required or Experience hand coding HTML and CSS without a WYSIWYG
