Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a highly experienced Trial Attorney specializing in personal injury law. This role is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated legal professional with extensive trial experience and a strong background in handling motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and professional malpractice cases. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, expertise in courtroom advocacy, and a collaborative approach to legal practice.

Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research to address both standard and complex personal injury issues, including causation and liability.
• Prepare and argue various motions, including Motions in Limine and evidentiary motions, with a strong command of law and motion practice.
• Led and managed all phases of trial preparation, including first-chairing jury trials to verdict.
• Take and defend expert depositions with precision and strategic planning.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, staff, and opposing counsel through professional correspondence and meetings.
• Collaborate closely with the internal legal team and contribute to strategic planning discussions led by the managing partner.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7+ years of legal practice experience with a proven track record as Trial Counsel.
• Extensive experience in personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents and slip/trip and fall incidents.
• Familiarity with professional malpractice cases (medical and legal) and a strong grasp of medical terminology related to personal injury claims.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in California State Bar in good standing.

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and analytical skills.
• Advanced trial advocacy capabilities with first-chair experience in at least five jury trials.
• Expertise in drafting, filing, and arguing legal motions.
• Proficiency in managing expert witnesses and technical depositions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt under pressure while maintaining an organized and systematic approach to trial preparation.
