Associate General Counsel
The candidate will provide Global legal support including support to the Commerical Team to negotiate and agree to Terms and Conditions, administer policies for Company contracts, and provide necessary oversight for such. Work in collaboration with the legal team including Labor and Employment Relations Counsel and Commercial Corporate Counsel. Manage assigned litigation (in conjunction with outside counsel). Advise, counsel, and intervene on legal issues affecting the Company including investigations, development of internal policies, risk avoidance and risk management. Review and approve company payments for external legal services. Ensure that the organization’s goals and objectives are achieved according to corporate compliance standards, rules, regulations, and laws. Liaison with various stakeholders during legal proceedings. Advise as applicable on complex purchase transactions to avoid legal problems. Oversee the renewal of any legal licenses, such as compliance software license agreements. Practice law and litigation involving tort matters, contract disputes, and various other issues. Manage, calendar, and monitor various deadlines for legal matters, such as litigations, claims, active cases, or any relevant legal procedures including the preparation and filing of any annual updates or proceedings of various statements to ensure regulatory compliance.
