Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, currently has a full-time employment opportunity with the Pricing team. The position may be located in various office locations. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.
Position Summary:
As a member of the Firm’s Pricing team, the Financial Project Coordinator will work closely with attorneys and business staff across the firm to develop and track comprehensive and realistic budgets, assist with the pricing of RFPs, and prepare and provide client requested reports and data. This position will also assist in establishing best practices and operational procedures in collaboration with the Pricing team as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include:
Assists in the development and maintenance of budgets using budgeting software
Monitors budgets for performance against actuals
Creates specific matter plans in line with client and attorney objectives to better track work performed
Assists in the data gathering and analysis for regular client reviews and presentations
Collaborates with other Pricing Department professionals with the preparation of RFPs, particularly where Alternative Fee Arrangements (non-hourly) are being proposed
Assists in the collection and organization of department statistical data as needed
Collaborates with Financial Report Developers to improve department reports to increase efficiency
Works closely with Billing department to ensure proper set-up of new rate agreements
Maintains and updates information related to current rate deals and client deadlines

Growing analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess management needs and craft innovative solutions to meet specific firm and client objectives
Strong communication skills, with the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and meet tight and often conflicting deadlines
Strong organizational skills, with the capability of managing multiple projects efficiently
Qualifications & Prior Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required
Business or other quantitative focus preferred
Minimum 1-3 years related experience preferred
Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, macros),
and Outlook; SharePoint experience is preferred
Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
