Senior Patent Specialist/Counsel
The candidate will identify, evaluate and select inventions to patent, and maintain the porfolio for a particular technology area. Manage patent applications, including drafting, filing and prosecution, and opposition proceedings when required. Provide support to Nokia businesses, including invention mining, patent training, and other advice. Prepare claim charts in view of any product use of our patents. At least 5 years patent-related experience, including working with inventors, development of patent portfolios, and prosecution of patent applications. Engineering Degree and practical experience with any of the following technologies: IP switching & routing, network management, optical components, optical transmission, datacenter infrastructure, PON, WiFi, FWA. Patent Attorney, or registered Patent Agent with standing to practice before the USPTO or the EPO. In-house experience at a large telecommunications or similar corporation.
