The candidate will guide clients by providing strategic direction on their cases, understanding their needs and wants, pivoting when needed, and keeping the client at the center of each matter. Represent clients in court proceedings when needed. Be able to draft pleadings, conduct discovery, handle mediations and settlement conferences, pretrial hearings. Delegate and communicate with other attorneys and paralegals to efficiently move the case forward and prevent details from falling through the cracks. Be results-oriented with high-quality, professional results. Should have 4+ years working in a law firm with family law experience. Must have litigation and courtroom experience. Must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing. Spanish skills are required.
