Internships
Interns will be trained in local, state and federal consumer protection laws, gain valuable conflict resolution skills and experience firsthand the workings of a state law enforcement agency. As Mediation Interns, will mediate complaints about most goods and services, credit and housing, and provide consumer tips and legal information via our telephone hotline. Must be college and law school students. Should have good verbal and written communication skills and an interest in dispute resolution, consumer advocacy, governmental affairs or health policy. All majors will be considered.
Schedule: 10 hours per week
