QA Lead

Duties: Participate in Change Management of production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system quality. Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects. Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality within IT software projects or IT operational systems. Comply with industry standards and practices of the software development life cycle. Coordination of Quality Assurance offshore / onshore team efforts for the assigned initiative. Work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that may differ from project to project. Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle. Assist technical and functional owners in the development, maintenance, and execution of test plans and cases. Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases, test planning and execution. Advise stakeholders on how best to maintain test cases in a test management repository. Actively participate in business walk-through, inspections, reviews and user group meetings for quality assurance. Work with business users, business analysts, developers, IT operations, project management, change management to analyze and plan various project documents and issues that come about. Execution of test cases will include progress reporting, defect tracking and risk assessment. Ability to test both performance/load and security tests.
