Housing Management Specialist, GS 05-15

Qualifications:

For GS-05: The candidate should have successfully completed a four year course of study leading to a Bachelor's degree OR have 3+ years of general experience that includes 1 year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector gathering technical data related to housing activities such as; maintenance, occupancy, purchasing/procurement activities, or building/property management OR have a combination of education and experience that equates to 1 year of experience.

For GS-07: The candidate should have successfully completed one full year of graduate level education OR have have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement OR have 1+ year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector gathering data; researching and organizing technical data related housing activities such as; maintenance, occupancy, purchasing/procurement activities, or building/property management. OR have a combination of education and experience that equates to one year of experience.

For GS-09: The candidate should have successfully completed a Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a Master's degree OR have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled OR have 1+ year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying standard technical procedures to evaluate housing activities such as; maintenance, occupancy, purchasing/procurement activities, or building/property management OR have a combination of education and experience that equates to 1 year of experience.

For GS-11: The candidate should have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled OR have 1+ year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing the efficiency/effectiveness of housing activities such as; maintenance, occupancy, purchasing/procurement activities, or building/property management OR have a combination of education and experience that equates to 1 year of experience.

For GS-12: The candidate must have 1+ year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector scheduling or planning activities related to housing activities such as; maintenance, occupancy, purchasing/procurement activities, or building/property management.

For GS-13: The candidate must have 1+ year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing methods, approaches or procedures related to housing activities such as; maintenance, occupancy, purchasing/procurement activities, or building/property management.

For GS-14: The candidate must have 1+ year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Evaluating the effectiveness of methods, approaches or procedures related to housing activities such as; maintenance, occupancy, purchasing/procurement activities, or building/property management.

For GS-15: The candidate must have 1+ year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing direction related to housing activities such as; maintenance, occupancy, purchasing/procurement activities, or building/property management.

Education

For GS-05: The candidate should have successfully completed a four year course of study leading to a Bachelor's degree.

For GS-07: The candidate should have successfully completed one full year of graduate level education OR have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.

For GS-09: The candidate should have successfully completed a Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a Master's degree OR have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. degree that is related to the position being filled.

For GS-11: The candidate should have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree or completed an LL.M degree that is related to the position being filled.
