Description
The Strategy Advancement Advisor provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities specific to the Part D space. Provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large for PD. The Strategy Advancement Advisor works on Part D problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Strategy Advancement Advisor leads Part D initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Brings Medicare and/or Pharmacy expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. Works with business partners across the organization to collaborate on business initiatives to grow and enhance the Part D strategy. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Advises executives to develop functional Part D strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Advise Part D AVP to develop, influence and drive Part D strategy
Able to dig into data analysis and communicate high level results to leaders in multiple areas of the business
Independently manage and prioritize a variety of complex and diverse issues and projects
Lead and develop workgroups to manage and drive key milestones to advance Part D strategy
Lead peers in various business areas (ex. HPS, Actuarial, Market leaders) in making decisions based on multifactor analysis of Part D trends and projections
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
8 or more years of Medicare and/or Pharmacy experience
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.
Willing to travel 2 or 3 times per year or as necessary
