The candidate will examine title abstracts, title insurance commitments and title reports. Draft various legal documents for attorney review. Investigate and research land records; collect and review source documents and materials. Interact with firm clients. Assist in all aspects of commercial closings. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education sufficient to indicate ability to be successful in the position; ABA approved paralegal certification an asset. Prior commercial real estate paralegal experience. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Strong attention to detail and skill in proofreading complex documents. Good organizational skills; ability to effectively plan work assignments to meet client needs. Strong attention to detail and skill in proofreading complex documents. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Ability to work independently, yet be an active contributor in a team environment. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet search applications.
