Attorney (Transactional)
The candidate should have knowledge of and experience in transactional work with an emphasis on contracts. Relevant experience includes drafting, negotiating and providing advice on contracts for goods and services and providing general legal advice to clients including with respect to the California Public Records Act and the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act. Experience at a state or public agency is preferred. Will mainly handle transactional and advice work but may also handle other work of OGC, as needed. Active membership in the State Bar of California and no professional disciplinary record in California or any other jurisdiction is required.
