Aon is looking for a Coordinator – Global Travel, Meeting and Events, Operations The Coordinator will be working as part of Aon’s Global Travel, Meeting and Events Team. This role requires knowledge in the planning and execution of meetings and events and understanding of the operations side of the department.   The role is responsible for supporting the development and enhancements to Aon's meeting management technology: managing the M&E technology stack to ensure we’re getting the most from the current technology and processes.   Monitoring service levels and governance, enabling the teams to be more efficient, get better outcomes while providing a better customer experience. Key Responsibilities:Learn to develop and drive meeting and event strategy with meetings leadership team across event portfolio with varying purposes, provide expertise and industry best practices to maximize value (cost savings, higher return on invested capital, attendee satisfaction (NPS), etc.).Employ relationship management methods and practices to identify opportunities to create value, cultivate meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, serving as the operational liaison.Collaborate with Operations Sr Management, on various tasks as needed, including being a backup resource Review meetings submitted in Aon’s meeting technology for accuracy Identify internal stakeholder needs and respond creatively by listening to information, applying knowledge, and determining solutions  Knowledge of the current technology in use today at Aon, as well as the landscape within the industry to ensure Aon has the best tools and resources available to our colleagues.Ensures that quality processes and tools are incorporated into all daily activities to drive process efficiencies, standardization, and optimization Experience delivering program support to multiple functions, evaluating existing systems and processes to improve and grow them to support the businessDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other business, product and technology teams and ability to lead through influenceProvide support, training, and implementation across global programsActively promote the overall objectives of the Global Travel, Meetings & Events team by supporting the overall strategy and initiativesIdentify innovative ideas to improve operational excellenceContinued on-going education and knowledge sharing forums with peersExperience with virtual and hybrid events and relative systemsEducation and Required Experience:Minimum 2 of meeting experience or operations A B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent experience is required, ideally in Marketing, Hospitality or Hotel ManagementStrong organizational skills are required due to the varied aspects of meeting and event planning.Ability to manage projects simultaneouslyEvent management technology (Cvent) and support applications, including virtual meeting technology  Skills & Other Requirements: Strong project management and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detailCan effectively interface with customers and suppliers with strong written and verbal communication skillsSolution oriented, embraces change, flexible, adapts well to changing prioritiesStrong independent worker and as a team playerWillingness to travel and work outside of traditional office hours with a global teamWe offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. Our Colleague Experience: From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.  They make a difference, work with the best, own their potential, and value one another.  This is the Aon Colleague Experience, defining what it means to work at Aon and realizing our vision of empowering human and economic possibility.
