Description

The Senior Software Engineer codes software applications based on business requirements. The Senior Software Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Previous project management experience

Strong collaboration and consultation abilities

5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure

Strong research and analysis experience regarding system errors and developing appropriate solutions

Advanced in Cloud technology and solutions

Advanced SQL server, PowerBI, Tableau, SAS, QlikView, and Access experience

Advanced data manipulation experience

Experience in creating reports, projections, models, visualization and presentations

Ability to present to vast audiences and Leadership

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

This role is located in KY, GA, OH, Il, and TX. As a virtual associate from these locations, you will be required to work from your own home and no other location. In order to qualify, you must have a room in your home designated as a home office; away from high traffic areas where confidential information may be secured. You must provide your own high speed DSL or a cable modem. Satellite and/or wireless internet connections are NOT permitted. A minimum internet speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) internet speed is required.
