Strategic Business System Analyst
The candidate collaborates with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by information systems and technology. Provide reporting solutions, including reports, on a scheduled basis. Ensure data is accurate and complete, meets the stated business need, and data is formatted in an easy to digest actionable format. Evaluate and prioritize needs regarding incoming client and internal department requests, make recommendations balancing management needs, client needs, and costs. Respond to all requests, inquiries, and scheduled tasks in a timely fashion to meet business and client needs. Communicate with all levels of employees within the firm, external clients, and vendors. Validate requests and manage rules for account movement and execute inventory maintenance activities. Maintain settings in the host system related to the successful processing of accounts - collections workflow, process automation, tables, codes, etc. Coordinates new client setup with management and/or relationship manager. QA processes are developed and implemented where needed, performed as scheduled, with a developed resolution/escalation process. Manage small projects including tracking multiple deliverables. First-line Dialer support including basic troubleshooting, end-user support, daily QA, user configuration, calling strategy support, and settings in the host system. Work closely with IT on projects, specifically where multiple systems (i.e. CSS IMPACT, Data Warehouse) are involved in a change, or where testing is needed of IT enhancements as they relate to collections/ onboarding. Research, document, and assist in design for IT projects as they relate to Collections, including CSS implementation. Cross trains with team members to enhance skills and support team functions. Generates report automation, and template population. Complete all required training applicable to the assigned position. Additional duties as requested or required. Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field. Should have 2 years of relevant business analyst experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Should have experience in MS Office Suite, SQL, and Visual Basic. Should have knowledge of SQL database to develop queries and SQL statements to extract data. Should have the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and time effectively to meet deadlines. Should have demonstrated strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment and build relationships with internal customers.
