Summer Internship Program
The intern will work in the Consumer Protection Unit. Interns will work closely with the Staff Attorneys in all aspects of the work of CPU's Legal Division. Legal research and writing (briefs, memoranda), drafting legal documents (Subpoenas, Investigative Demands, Notices of Contemplated Legal Action), drafting settlement agreements, and consumer contact are just some of the daily tasks and responsibilities. In addition to real life lawyering experiences, interns will also have the opportunity to attend out of office events. These events may include prison tours and tours of the Public Safety Training Center and the Georgia Crime Lab. Rising third year law students who are currently enrolled in an accredited law school will be considered. The program generally runs from the first week in June through the second week in August.

Stipend: $3000
