Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in Arizona personal injury, civil litigation, and/or employment law. The attorney will handle various civil litigation matters from case inception to conclusion, requiring self-motivation, organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Arizona, possess knowledge of State and local laws, and be capable of drafting legal documents, appearing in court, and participating in settlement conferences and arbitration.

Duties:

• Manage civil litigation matters from case inception to conclusion.
• Prepare demands, Notices of Claims, pleadings, and discovery.
• Negotiate settlements and lien reductions.
• Participate in mediation, arbitration, depositions, and trials.
• Analyze case law and draft legal documents.
• Appear in court, settlement conferences, and arbitration.
• Utilize MS Office Suite and maintain excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of Arizona personal injury, civil litigation, and/or employment law experience.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and professional demeanor.
• Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
• Knowledge of State and local laws.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
• Court appearance experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications:

• License to practice law in Arizona.
