Aon New Ventures Group is seeking a Manager  to support an emerging product category called Quality of Intellectual Property (QoIP). This solution primarily supports sell-side M&A processes by helping companies, bankers and potential investors better understand and capitalize on Intellectual Property portfolios. The Manager will be the primary owner of: a) day-to-day project operations, analytics and writing; as well as b) construction and delivery of the Quality of IP reports.Your job will be to lead all the process, timing and workflows that chip in to the successful completion of a QoIP report, but more importantly, the critical thinking, assessment and communication of key findings into concise business oriented and client centric reports. You will be backed by a team of ~150 IP specialists and analysts, a sophisticated technology stack and a leadership team committed to supporting your growth and development, as well as that of the business. This is a critical role and up-and-coming opportunity to join a rapidly expanding product category; putting your mark on the development and evolution of the solution.Key Job ResponsibilitiesResearch, Analysis and Findings: Work with our team of guides to design and implement analysis for intellectual property data, discovering insights from findings and developing the best mode (e.g. written form, data visualization) of communication to a highly sophisticated client base.Project Management: Lead the moving parts and contributions to a QoIP report, ensuring the project is on-time and meeting both internal and external breakthroughs of completion. Additionally, assess product and process improvements on an ongoing basis, bring ideas and recommendations to the team for incorporation into the QoIP playbook and report template.Result Construction: Coordinate all inputs to QoIP reports, write high quality narrative sections of the 30-50 page report, write and perfect interim contributions to the investment banking team and the CIM, etc. This is the most important part of the job: ensuring client success. Project Delivery and Client Engagement: It will be critical to stay close to clients; both communicating our good work, but also listening, understand their needs / situations and work with our teams to ask the right questions, while delivering the right set of answers; client compassion in this role will be key.You Bring Knowledge and ExperienceProject Management Experience: Experience coordinating team members and inputs, while working towards a project completion date.Detail Orientation: Experience in situations where you have been required to be highly detail oriented and be able to complete complex processes from beginning to end.Client Experience: Experience engaging with clients, understanding their needs and delivering work in support of their goals.Writing and Communication: Effective communications skills, written, verbal and in-person / videoQuantitative Analysis Experience: Experience reading, analyzing and understanding datasets and their meaning from a variety of sources.QualificationsBachelor’s degree is required, with proven academic excellence, ideally in a field such as business, economics, engineering or marketing.
