Electronic and Physical Security Consultant

Profile

Our client is seeking a Electronic and Physical Security Information Systems Consultant for a 3 year contract. This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite and the remainder remote.

This role will manage multiple projects involving implementation of Physical Security solutions such as Video Analytics, Video Management, Card Access, Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) and Building Management Systems. Hands on IT experience, physical security subject matter expertise and project management skills are required.

The consultant will manage all aspects of the projects. Tasks include but are not limited to: creating project schedules & plans,

coordinate activities between various stakeholders such as vendors, Client IT dept., procurement, business users and other technical groups.

ensure that all applications, systems and services introduced into the Client environment meet defined IT security standards, policies and follow industry best practices.

make certain all IT Security controls involving system configuration, permissions, user access, data protection, auditing, monitoring and any other relevant controls are applied.

provide technical information, security advice and guidance to multiple stakeholders

assist in identifying, managing, and mitigating security risks for respective physical assets, applications, networks, and systems.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT related field

Minimum 7-9 years of Information Technology Project management experience

3 to 6 years of experience integrating Video Management, Card Access or Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) System
