Director Of Title Ix Compliance

The candidate will supervise the Office of Title IX Compliance, including supervising full-time Title IX investigators, program specialists, and other staff. Supervise investigative efforts under Title IX, including ensuring prompt, equitable, and impartial investigations. Coordinate with the Office of the Dean of Students, the Office of Human Resources, and the Office of Academic Affairs regarding emerging concerns. Serve as Tile IX Coordinator for The Academy at Middle Fork. Provide active and ongoing education and training to the campus community. Maintain accurate records for all Title IX reports. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and practices to ensure institutional compliance. Report to and support the vice provost for faculty affairs. J.D., Masters, or Advanced degree in human resources, student development, higher education administration or other relevant discipline is highly desirable. A Bachelors degree with an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted are required. Demonstrated experience conducting investigations of harassment, discrimination and/or retaliation involving students, employees and/or contractors are required. Demonstrated understanding of Title IX regulatory and enforcement guidance, and legislative initiatives are required. Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity towards experiences and expressions of trauma caused by sexual violence and harassment are required. Superior interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills are required. Superior writing skills are required. Superior presentation skills are required. Superior ability to articulate oneself in a clear and concise manner to small, large and diverse audiences are required. Strong prioritization, analytical, and organizational skills are required. Experience organizing and conducting workplace discrimination or harassment investigations, Title IX investigations or other civil rights investigations, preparing concise and cogent written analyses of complaints, and making recommendations for management action are required.
